This program brings together music videos , musical fictions and short experimental films by Cologne-based artists and legendary tracks from international bands that have fueled queer pop culture with raw energy, defiance, and play. Interwoven with films and video works by focus artist Jennifer Reeder, the selection celebrates riot-grrrl* attitudes, queer empowerment and collective resistance.Through bold aesthetics, DIY spirit, and touching performances they are transforming the music video into a space of softness, rebellion, longing and solidarity that can take shape on their own terms.

The music video selection is a cooperation with music video expert and curator Jessica Manstetten.
